You know, I was feeling sorry for the both of them until the last bit at the end. It seems to me that Harry has been listening to the wrong people if he didn't even give Severus the info for the Fidelius - it sounds like something he'd been counselled to do to 'get over' his lingering feelings.
And it's pretty obvious that there were lingering feelings considering his reaction to Severus attending the party. This felt like Lily and Severus in reverse, only it's Harry being rejected in this case. Rightfully so, too - the relationship as it stood was toxic.
