This is lovely! I really like the contrast between the Harry of the first part - his mind, in all its thoughtfulness and near-adult seriousness - and the one of the remainder of the story, who's a bit more boyish (or flat-out stupid, if Severus is telling the story!) and unsure of himself. The end leaves open the possibility for so much more, without spelling it out in so many words - just beautiful. :)
