Twelfth Night.
Severus sneered down at Harry his. “Even in your last class Mr Potter you show no finesse no culture, you have never and will never possess the necessary wit to create or reproduce anything beautiful.”
Harry stood and turned to face Severus looking him strait in the eye. After insuring he had Severus’s full attention, along with the rest of the class, he closed his eyes and spoke his first words since entering the classroom.
“O, what a deal of scorn looks beautiful In the contempt and anger of his lip! A murderous guilt shows not itself more soon Than love that would seem hid: love's night is noon. Cesario, by the roses of the spring, By maidhood, honour, truth and every thing, I love thee so, that, maugre all thy pride, Nor wit nor reason can my passion hide. Do not extort thy reasons from this clause, For that I woo, thou therefore hast no cause, But rather reason thus with reason fetter, Love sought is good, but given unsought better.” Harry opened his eyes, gave Severus a small smile, and turned to walk out of the classroom, his bag and belongings following him.
He found the door slammed in his face.
“Love sought is good, but giv'n unsought is better.” Severus said softly, almost as shocked at his students at the words leaving his mouth.
Harry grinned widely and looked around at the class, most of whom were looking on in confusion, a few, with understanding, Hermione had tears running down her face and was whispering explanations to those around her. “He does it with a better grace, but I do it more natural.”
Severus rolled his eyes and shook his head, but a smile played on his lips. “This is very midsummer madness.”
Severus closed the distance between them and pressed Harry into to door behind them and kissed him soundly.
