After an HP title of such promising name as Harry AND the Half-Blood Prince, I fully expected the last book to be a snarry. :D I deserve what I get, faithful as a hufflepuff....
He reaches out, pulls strands of hair, knowing Potter will rationalize the minute pain as running into a snarly branch. Potter doesn’t even flinch, attention split absolutely between the shimmering doe and the treacherous ground. It is an easy thing to follow him.
I *love* this - b/c this is a prime example for the need to read between the lines (or to shove your own meaning in between them, so that the entire thing can make sense!^^)
DH can use as much clarification as it can get! :3
