A year since he'd set and reset the lab's wards until he was dizzy.

Three months since the sock incident.

A month since... Ah yes, the 'momentary lapse' with the wax. A bloody debacle, more like.

An hour since an unspoken declaration of love - a subtlety required to thwart the press.

Five years since that beetlemagus hack had outed them.

Eight years since the Boy-Who-Grew-Up had moved himself in.

Ten years since...

Ten years!

Severus sighed. Where did the time go? When had he become happy? No matter. Undeserved or not, Severus was hanging onto it fiercely.

"Severus?" mumbled a sleepy voice.

"Go back to sleep. All is well."
