This was an amusing read but then layered with a sense of sadness as you realized where it was going. I thought you handled those two aspects deftly. Also - nice touch of creep too as "live" Severus thought he smelled the Black Lake on her. I'm thinking for her, this won't end well in the long run. Well done.
