"It's a small world," Christian returned as his smirk turned into a slow boyish smile as it was really nice to see another familiar face. One he hadn't seen in many years since she'd blown out of New Orleans. She looked good. Clearly wherever she had been and whatever she had been doing agreed with her. "I've actually been holed up here for a few years now but I had a family emergency I needed to take care of which took me away for a while."
He approached the bar and leaned across it to wrap an arm around her shoulders, pulling her into a slightly awkward (due to the bar between them) a hug.
"It's good to see you." The comment was genuine and Christian leaned back. "What brought you to Seven Devils?
