Liam eyed the green gelatin as if it were radioactive. "Thank you, but, I already ate," he insisted. A white lie, of course, as all the whipped cream in the hospital couldn't make that flavor of jello palatable.
He was surprised to hear that Rome hadn't footed the bill for the apartment - Liam's own home was provided by such means. Although, Liam hadn't gone missing on an expedition and assumed dead. "If there's anything I can do to help you get your place back let me know," he said, hoping that the other man's things hadn't been packed up and shipped across the ocean for safe-keeping.
The exorcist sat quietly as he listened, giving Castor all the time he needed to both recall and essentially relive bits and pieces of the trauma. Everything but the geological upset, convenient enough to have covered the site. Templars, for as much of history as they wanted to preserve and safeguard - weren't strangers to demolishing former temples and ruins for the sake of keeping secrets. It was something that flagged in Liam's mind.
"Helicopters aren't my forte but I went ahead and requested the flight information," he informed Castor casually, though he only just decided he would take a look at it all. Once he left the hospital he'd called Nerida and have her put in the request - but Castor didn't know that. Liam's own curiosity had gotten the better of him - there was just something about the other Templar's story that didn't quite add up. If it was sabotage of some sort, they needed to know. "Should have it by the end of the week, they can't exactly fax it over."
God bless her soul seemed a bit thick, but Liam found it hard to discern from emotional any emotional attachment and general gratitude of seeing Katerina again. Any suspicions he had started to humor were pushed aside as the conversation continued, however. "Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but field work will have to wait until you've got a medical clearance to exercise." Even though what they tended to do as Templars was far, far more physically demanding.
"We're up to our eyeballs in research, though," he admitted. "So much that I think a collaboration with the Men of Letters is inevitable. You could spearhead that, if you'd like?" Liam offered.
