"Rest," Liam insisted gently with a shake of his head to signify he didn't mind. He watched Castor for a moment with concern He wasn't a stranger to pushing himself, or injuries, even when literally everyone around told him to take it easy. Maybe it was a mandatory Templar trait - to be intentionally stubborn and try to fight even when you were down and out.
He offered a quiet laugh as he took a seat, finding it odd for a moment that he wasn't the one injured in the hospital bed. "They're not so bad," he admitted with a faint shrug. "Unless you had Carol as your nurse." He shivered for effect and cringed momentarily. "Hopefully they at least gave you the red Jello," Liam commented as he settled.
"I'm here on semi-serious business," he informed the other Templar. "Rome placed Nerida and I here a few months ago because of the spike in activity at the nexus. From what I understand you'll remain here until reassignment if necessary." He began to explain but, the exorcist couldn't help but find himself with unanswered questions of his own regarding the other man's expedition. Like why the transfer had been made, to Seven Devils of all places, once stateside. It was quick to consume his attention.
"I think the Vatican's most burning question is probably what did you uncover and where is it now?" he brought up with a tiny smirk. At times the Vatican seemed to care more about its delicate and rare artifacts than the holy soldiers they used to procure them.
