The shock from the hospital staff as Liam Roe walked through the halls not bloodied or wearing the color coded gown from their psychiatric wing — was arguably understandable. A quick wave to the ER doctor who'd seen him multiple times in the few months the Templar had been in Seven Devils, caused the healthcare professional to look confused, then alarmed, before rushing off with his container of food toward the ER. Probably in anticipation of Liam showing up.
Again, perfectly understandable.
Liam was what healthcare called a frequent flyer. Turns out going toe to toe with demons for a living was a pretty physical job. And sometimes a biological hazard. He at least had gotten to know a couple of the nurses, which kept him mostly out of the psych wing. That and he stopped being so honest about the reasons for his strange injuries.
He wasn't at St. Augustine for personal matters, though. When Rome asked him to debrief with Castor, Liam gladly accepted. He'd met the other man a handful of times, when both were between assignments, but like most, he had heard of the misfortunes of the man's expedition. Liam had half expected Nerida to be sent to try and retrieve Castor, but thankfully the man was recovered after some time and brought back to the States.
Seeing the Chaplain in the corridor, Liam gave a gentle nod and pat on the shoulder in passing. The other man wasn't as enthused to see him, and seemed distracted, but he chalked it up to the fact that their previous conversations had been when the Templar was an in patient.
Liam knocked gently on the door frame of the other Templar's room, taking a casual step inside. "It's good to have you back, Castor," the exorcist told him as he approached.
