So I'm sitting here outside having my coffee as usual and I look up expecting the sunrise. Well, something's gone terribly wrong out there because there is no sunrise. It has been the same level of darkness since about midnight as far as I can tell. I've been up since 4AM and I don't think I've seen so much as a change in a star?

Closing the clinic this morning to go out on a drive and see just how far this goes. I'm leaving at 8 if anyone wants to get in the Caddy with me. Could use an extra set of eyes or two while mine are on the road. I've got a feeling this is a township situation given our delightfully colored history.

Otherwise, I suggest you stay in and be on guard until this is figured out. Don't let the kids out to play until the sun's up, you hear me?

Okay so...

Everyone else noticed that the sun didn't come out today... Right? Like, that's not normal or anything, is it?

Walking to work in the dark is giving me the heebie jeebies too. What's going on?

HA. I caught a MF scorpion bitches! Exhausting, but worth it.

Started rearranging my island, lost track of time, forgot it was meant to be a twenty minute break from research, promptly got sucked in. Lost my damn mind. Had to finish research at 9pm. Frazzled AF right now.

This is as distracting as online shopping. Totally mean to limit the time on it, end up lost for hours and doing things you didn't realise you were going to do. Like why did I order this kitchen organiser? I have a dishwasher, I don't need a sink rack.

Is it just me... or are people being a little more argumentative than usual?

Like, I honestly just had to write a guy up for threatening his neighbour with a strimmer. Which isn't even that serious, because it is just that plastic thing so like, lacerations at worst. But the dude was seriously going at it. And this was over a garden fence.

And there was a call yesterday about a guy who's yelling at the chipmunks or whatever in his tree. At 5am. Disturbing the neighbourhood. Like, is this how adults live? Is this a thing that happens after a couple years?

I am currently being aggressively guilt-tripped by my dogs. It's my own fault, they saw me unloading ice cream from the groceries and started begging. After a straight hour of 'no' I went downstairs to get caught up on some work and Charon followed so he could throw himself onto the couch and has been huffing and whining ever since.

Starting Tuesday I will be offering violin lessons here [address] in town. experience preferred No experience needed, however interest and discipline are mandatory. For sake of my sanity I will not teach anyone under the age of thirteen. Lessons are an hour long, and frequency will depend on your skill set.

Anyone else glad summer is practically over? I love the sun and all that but my favorite season is definitely the fall So many great smells and food, and the colors changing, and yeah everything. Not to mention just the general time of year too. What else is everyone else looking forward to?

I swear to God, if these scorpions don't stop stinging me, I'm gonna flip a table. Every time I come out of someone's house, these little shits chase me and my tiny little legs can't go fast enough.

My computer crapped out this week too, which meant a trip to the store and talking to those so called 'genius' people. I loathe dealing with stuck up smart people, really I do. On the other hand, I have a new computer, so yay.

I can't believe that summer is almost over already! But at the same time that means fall is coming!!! Literally my favourite season.

This whole week we're doing a supplies drive for the kids going back to school. We're hoping to make up a backpack full of supplies for every child in the community so that they've got all the material they need to go back or start school with everything they'll need to thrive.

Donations can be made at the Town Hall, we will be running the event from now until the week the kids return to school at the end of August. We're also planning one more trip before schools start back so keep an eye out to come along with us!
