Who: Maks and Julienne When: Wednesday, August 11th, 2112 - afternoon Where: Maks' apartment What: the doctor makes a house call
After spending the night, Mik had offered to stay longer with Maks, but Maks refused. She couldn't babysit him 24-7. She had a life of her own to live, and Maks insisted that she get back to it. Besides, he was a little more stable now. Maybe functional was the best term for him. When morning finally arrived, Maks managed to force himself to take a shower. It was hard watching the water turn reddish brown at his feet. Letting go of the blood staining his body felt like letting go of Arthur. He still couldn't believe she was gone. It made Maks feel very alone, even though he knew he wasn't.
Eddie hadn't left Maks' side all morning. The pug knew something was seriously wrong, and he was constantly begging to occupy Maks' lap. That's where Eddie was when the visitor alert sounded. The dog jumped up and ran to the door, barking. "Quiet, Eddie," Maks said with zero energy, slowly getting to his feet to follow.
When the forcefield was out of the way, Maks saw Julienne Bronk. Maks' superiors told him to take a few days leave to recover from the trauma he'd experienced, and it seemed maybe they thought he needed the help of a doctor as well. "Hello, Doctor Bronk," he offered in a somber tone. "Uh.. come in."

Who: Maks and Mikaela When: Tuesday, August 10th, 2112 - morning Where: the hospital What: comforting a friend
Maks hadn't said a word the entire ride from the west sector station to the hospital. In fact, the only sign that he was still coherent was the fact that he had pulled Arthur's hand from under the sheet they draped over her, and was holding it gently in his own, his thumb stroking over the back of it. He stared at the sheet, which couldn't avoid getting bloody, though no where near as bad as his own clothing. There was so much blood. How could the human body hold that much and then spill it within minutes? He swallowed hard and closed his eyes until they arrived.
Everything was procedural after that. There was this bubble of whispered sympathies, suspicions, gasps and instructions following him around as he was pointed in different directions. Sit here. Sign this. Sit there. Come with me. Have a seat. And then the worst of them... can I get you anything? What the hell were they going to get him? Could they fetch Arthur's soul and put it back in her body? That would be great. You know what else would be great? If they'd leave him the fuck alone!
Sitting outside the morgue, Maks took a second to look down at his hands. Once his eyes locked on the blood-stained skin, he couldn't look away. It felt like he was staring at them for hours, when in reality, it was probably only a few minutes. That's when he heard his name echoing off the walls in a frantic voice, the sound of clicking heels accompanying it.

Who: Maks and Arthur When: Monday, August 9th, 2112 - night Where: mostly his apartment What: NOT a date... unless it is... but it isn't!
Since Eddie needed a good, long walk before he passed out and snored for the rest of the night, Maks brought him along when he went to meet Arthur at her place. She didn't know where his apartment was yet, and he thought it would be easier to simply show her, rather than give her directions and make her stumble around the city until she found it.
He arrived at her home just before 7:00, as promised. Since neither of them was really clear if this was a date or not, he had dressed casually. Dark jeans, form-fitting, long sleeve, grey cotton shirt, and some black boots. It was a clean look that could transition to dessert in the city later, without looking like he was getting dressed up for a "date".
He activated the visitor alert system and waited patiently outside the apartment with Eddie on his leash and panting at Maks' side.

Who: Reed and Megan When: Tuesday, August 9th, 2112 - early evening Where: her apartment What: ensuring her door doesn't attack again Rating: probably innocent save for language
Reed doubted there was anything actually wrong with Megan's door, but one couldn't be too careful. There was no such thing as error free technology, because humans were eternally flawed. As a race, they were incapable of perfection, which meant there was a chance Megan's door really was out to kill her. He'd be able to run a quick diagnostic test on it, and if the problem stemmed from user error, he'd simply educate her on the proper way to use it.
Having looked up her address through her callsign (which caused a raised eyebrow but no comment or questioning), Reed took the rail straight from work as soon as the alarm on his phone signaled it was time for him to leave. He'd probably live in the lab if not for that alarm. The cot was surprisingly comfortable, and he would often nap for an hour or two then get straight back to work. But not this evening. Besides, fixing a potentially malfunctioning forcefield would give him something to do with his hands and brain, and help him serve his community, so it was a worthwhile venture.
He checked the address on his map before sounding the visitor alert. Hopefully, the sound wouldn't worry Megan. She and the other SGs seemed nervous about the changes in technology. He couldn't help that the visitor alert system didn't have the melodious tone of an old fashioned door bell.
