It was cute the way she nibbled at the cone, not letting the fish have it all. They fought over the few crumbs that got tossed their way, the chubby black one not getting a single bite. "Awe, poor mini me, he's going to waste away to nothing if you don't throw him a scrap!"
Reed was a physically affectionate person. He came from a very warm family, and he had a decent number of female friends. Being close like this didn't bother him at all now that he'd gotten used to the whole date idea. "No," he laughed out, "I'm not blazed. Not stupid from being sleepy either. This is just.. nice. I guess maybe... I've tried too hard on some first dates. You know, fancy restaurant, nice clothes, forced conversation. This doesn't really feel like a first date."
