Who: Barbara Gordon and Ted Kord
What: Reunion!
When: After Ted goes to Best Buy, the day Barbara arrives - after this.
Where: Barbara and Katherine (who she has not met yet's) Apartment (yeah the door is unlocked, why not?)
Why: Because among other things? Helping get Barbara into the uncooperative wheelchair of doom.
Status: Closed, incomplete.
The wheelchair was across the room. She had spent more than a few minutes over the last half an hour just glaring at it. It wasn't her chair. It was just a chair. Her chair never would have rolled away when she tried to get into it. Her chair was sturdy, reliable, and completely technologically advanced.
To pass the time she had taken to conversing with of all people the man - no the thing - that had put her in a chair in the first place. Everything was just so confusing right now. Her father would panic, her teammates would start investigating when she wasn't at the tower for their meeting tonight - as she rarely left - and she was rather certain that her disappearance would be looked upon as a priority one event. Any time she so much as sneezed wrong... well perhaps not that far, but still.
Her fingers continued clacking against the keys as she wrote yet another response back - this laptop would do for the moment... She knew that Ted was going to kill her for the continued conversation but it was her job. She needed to get all the information she could - this actually seemed a better use of time than trying to get into the wheelchair again. And until she had her system up and running with the blocks and precautions in place she really had only one way... it didn't help that Joker seemed to think that she was now a target, but in all honesty she didn't care. She had a job. And she was going to do that job. New surroundings or not... It would be even better if she could get off the floor... She could only assume that the break on that chair must have been loose.
...if Joker really had brought them there, saying that "fate" had a twisted sense of humor really was an understatement.
