Miki was not happy with either of them at this point. She pushed her chair back and away from the table. "No. Just no." Miki waved a hand in a 'shush' gesture at Vic. "You shush. I'll get to you in a freaking minute."
Her attention on Susan, she didn't hide her frown but she tried to. "Not once did I ever say I wasn't upset. But I don't appreciate it when a friend goes and says I did something when I didn't. I don't care how big or little the accusation is. It's bullshit. You should know better, especially when I'm already pissed in general." She sighed and tried to chill out. She was mad at Susan for that, but it was a petty kind of thing fueled by the frustration over Vic. "But I'm sorry for comparing you to 13. I didn't mean it. I was just lashing out at you."
She turned back to Vic and she held her head up high, "As for you, I don't need your pleading to be pissed at you. That's going to happen no matter what and you damn well deserve it and you know it. You know what they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that." Oh she had more she could say about that, but they were in public and weren't they making enough of a scene as it was?
Miki stood up. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to the ladies' room so I can take a freaking time out before I do anything else." That or she'd make an escape through a window. They had windows in the bathroom, right? She was sure hoping they did as she walked away, just in case.
