The short woman had heard things from Hilary considering the person of Victor, but... it did seem to be a collective biased of hate. At least she knew better than to give the girl an apple on this holiday she spoke of. Smiling, wanting to give him time to prove his worth or worthlessness she agreed, "It is nice to meet you as well. Thank you both for your concern. I am fine. And your brother is fine as well, love. If I may say, I think he's kind of enjoying this."
Her eyes looked to Tessa from Victor once her words were meant for her rather than the former pirate.
Once releasing Tessa from the firm embrace they were in, she looked toward the opposite end of the house calling, "Merrick! We have visitors."
They had been exploring the house, looking for clues to what this place meant. If anything. Something that would tell them why she had been so kindly been given an invitation here.
"Thank you," she commented unsure, "It was bought on my behalf. I believe."
The girl seemed confused for a moment as if she wasn't entirely sure what her invitation meant just yet.
