She listened to him talk and she felt sympathy for him but was unsure what to say. She was never good with that sort of thing. So Miki opted to try and move the conversation along. "And now here you are, trying to give your neighbors food poisoning. Nice job there." She was teasing and ran a hand through her hair. "Speaking of neighbors, what time is Susan coming? I know I'm early but the smoke demanded me to beat that clock."
