"Okay," Audrey grinned. "I'll let you know when it is. I think we were aiming for Wednesday mornings, but I'll have to recheck our schedules." She knew their Study Halls differed, but if she was correct, Fridays were generally free.
Before she could run that by him, Cal had to leave and Audrey felt a bit sad by the prospect. Of course, he couldn't skiv off class to talk to her and she wouldn't want him to, but it had turned out to be a pleasant conversation and most her nerves had dissipated. "Um... okay. Thanks!" she called out after him, staring at the box full of 54 coloured squares. If she guessed correctly, figuring out there were actually only six colours but nine squares of each, the object would be to fix the box so the same coloured squares would be on the same side.
After watching him disappear from view, she continued to the Great Hall, playing with the box and figuring out how to move it along its various axes. Maybe seeing him in the Common Room wouldn't be as nerve-wracking as she previously thought.
