Mornings were the worst part about living at Hogwarts. Mainly because there was always a group of people that were all too awake in the early hours. It was the part of breakfast that also made Balthazar want to skip it. It was bad enough that he was not a fan of getting up early, or having to get changed early- or any part of a morning in general. When people were chipper around him, it caused the already cranky Slytherin to want to shove a goblet down someone's throat.
Similar to the thoughts poking at the back of his mind as he watched Luke stand up with narrowed eyes. His sudden display of joyful singing was no morning bird's song to say the least. Normally this would have been fun to watch but the song and Luke's voice was going right through the seventh year as he looked down at his goblet of pumpkin juice. Thoughts on chucking it across the room at the Gryffindor table started turning in his mind but he opted to just drink it. Maybe someone else will take the other boy down before he finished his drink.
After the first sip the song was still being shouted and B gave a sigh. Great, my ears will be bleeding by the end of this... And then the rest of the goblet was drained. A small twitch came from the corner of his lips. Maybe it wasn't so bad...
