[25 Mar 2019|08:58pm] kree guess who's back? hi guys! i figured i would finally pop one of these storyline posts here because i'm not sure what lines she still has around while i play catch up. this is claire donovan, alterego of the bad ass carol danvers. seriously... if you haven't seen captain marvel, it's amazing. anywho, she's a 30-something er/trauma nurse, former navy medic who was stationed for a better part of a decade in hawaii. that's where she met oldglory who takes the role of her ex-fiance/friend/heart eyes situation. she also knows godtier from those days as well i believe. after coming back to the states, she had a small period of adjustment to go through when getting back to civilian life, as most do. she struggled a bit with alcohol issues and nearly got herself in deep with an accident a couple years back. it was a tough time in her life, for sure. she cut a lot of people out and sort of spiraled into a weird funk. thankfully, she's almost completely back to herself. well, sort of. carol suddenly appearing in her head has certainly thrown her for a loop. i know she also has a cousin in deepsea and i would love to work out other lines for her as well, especially in the form of maybe another medical professional or two. glad to be back! thanks loves. 11

[21 Mar 2019|10:56am] kyujutsu He's in, so here we go! This is Connor Hwang, otherwise known as Connor Hawke, Oliver Queen's son and the second in the Green Arrow mantle. He's 27 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles' Koreatown, but he moves to Boston at age 15 to live with his uncle who trained him in martial arts (and more importantly discipline because he was a brat). From there, he got into archery and competed throughout high school and some of college before graduating with a bachelor degree in Business Administration from UMass. He took that, ran with it, and worked for a gun range and MMA gym before landing firmly at his uncle's dojo where he was for some time before moving back to San Francisco for a while with his international superstar boyfriend cheonjae (but mum's the word) and his deaf and mostly blind pup, Turbo. They've now made their way down to Los Angeles where he opened up a second dojo which operates not unlike the Arrow Ashram - you can come for training or come for peaceful relaxation, but either way, behave. Where this dojo is, I've yet to actually figure out, but it's somewhere and generally unharmed by the meteors. Line-wise, I welcome them all! He has bounced around a lot, but if any historical connections can be made, I'm game! Otherwise, friends, dojo patrons/students, dog park buddies, work out buddies, cousins on either side of his family if anyone is out for family ties, anything we can figure out! 6

[14 Mar 2019|01:17am] cigars now that he's been accepted, i just wanted to take a second and maybe grab a few more lines. this is locke, he's 40, single, bar-owner in the heart of downtown la. he is kind of a miser and any money he spends goes into improving his bar (and you know, food and necessities). speaking of his bar, it's in the heart of downtown l.a. where he gets a lot of business from the high rises and the convenient walking distance from a lot of offices. the bar is a dive, dark and full of stained mahogany and cracked leather. there are pool tables, a couple of pinball machines, beer pong tables and lots of booths. they have themed nights: karaoke, ladies, trivia, etc. and live bands on the weekends. it's the kind of place people make a regular hangout, but it's definitely not a club with bouncers and the latest hits being spun by talented djs. he's been around for about a year, moved from nyc when his father passed away. before that he owned another bar there after being medically discharged from the marines when he caught a bullet in his knee. before that he moved all over with a deadbeat drunk for a father. there are some prospects for cousins, maybe a brother if anyone needs one. he could use new friends and anyone he could've known in nyc over the last 6ish years. also anyone with a military background he might've served with in iraq. and if anyone needs a job and wants to work at the bar, he's got openings. flings, fwb and exes are also needed. 15
