The protest on James stealing his book never came, his focus was still on Sirius despite James' interruption. "Isn't that what he's good at?" He teased absently, eyeying Sirius curiously for another moment before finally turning to James - Sirius must have hit his head pretty hard or else he was missing something. "If you ever expect her to tolerate your presence enough to go on a date with you, you really need to stop making her so mad. She might actually like you if you didn't contradict her all the time," he pointed out for probably the millionth time to the thick headed boy.
"It's not a big deal," he shook his head and smiled, patting Sirius' arm. "And how do you intend on doing that?" He asked with a quirked brow, his curiosity definetly piqued now.
