Marcus' face scrunched up as if in pain, his head tilted, eyes squinted, brow knit tightly. He didn't particularly enjoy being referred to as 'wonderful and sweet.' In fact, he tried his damnedest to be the exact opposite. Life was much easier when no one expected anything more of you.
"Don't tell anyone. I have an image to protect." He scowled and snarled, but it was more embarrassment than menace. He rubbed the back of his neck fiercely, which made him look even more awkward.
