"Every fortnight on a Friday," Theodore said, finishing his first shot and returning to the lager. "It's when we're paid and we usually have a pub night when there's extra money in pocket."
He smiled a little. Two months ago he wouldn't have thought himself comfortable talking with someone from his past about his current situation. Tracey's presence over the last almost two months had been a grounding point for Theodore. He felt more a wizard than he had in years. Just talking about Hogwarts brought it back even more.
Theodore reached for one of the four shots that had been brought for him. "I seem to recall you being very good at being very quiet. And when you weren't, I remember being handy with an Imperturbable Charm or two back then." He looked at the shot for a moment, feeling his cheeks go warm at the memories it brought up. His hands everywhere, her hands everywhere and their mouths. And he tried not to think of this as flirting. It was just friendly banter.
Between friends, right?
"How about if I win... mind you I started before you, so you have an advantage over me... you have to come back to the stables and gallop Polly around the ring twice. Bareback."
