Theodore relaxed a little. If Weasley wasn't a regular then there was less of a chance of crossing paths with him again. The fact that he came to a Muggle racetrack in general was odd, but Theodore tried not to get too caught up in the details. And he didn't expect that Weasley was generally chatty with others.
Nodding, Theodore glanced toward the other stalls. "Yes there's a big stable available. But we only take on retirees."
It was an odd feeling, chatting with Ron Weasley without any sort of animosity. Sure they were older, but Theodore had no idea whether or not Weasley still held to old prejudices. And there was a small part of him that wanted to ask how he'd managed for so long with so little money while growing up.
Maybe exchange stories about it.
But he didn't bring it up. Instead he just shrugged. "I keep a low profile, not doing much of anything." Theodore wanted the subject off him. "I imagine you and Potter are quite the Auror team these days. It seemed something you would get into if memory serves me correctly."
