"That sounds very organised," Hermione said approvingly. "I've heard their Ministry is very efficient."
Unlike the British Ministry, though Hermione thought she could say things were improving, as their generation took more leadership roles. She was slowly taming the archives, at least.
"Did you get any chance to sight see at all?" she asked, before taking a sip of her tea. "Japan is definitely on my list to places to visit. I've heard marvelous things about Tokyo."
Hermione hadn't had the chance to travel as much as she might like; she'd dove right into her Ministry career, and it kept her incredibly busy. And now she'd added more obligations to her schedule with her weekend evenings at the jazz club. Eventually, she supposed she'd put her foot down and demand a week or two of holiday from both jobs.
"Oh, thank you!" She reached out, inspecting the sweets. She couldn't read a word, but that would just make eating them more of an adventure. "I'm sure they're lovely."
