Who: Susan Bones and Open Where: Leaky When: Monday Evening Rating: Low Status: Incomplete
Luckily for her, her shift ended on time and Tuesday was her one day off this week. After cleaning up and changing out of her healers robes, Susan made her way over to the Leaky. Yeah, there were a few other healers and other personal from Mungo's, but she didn't really feel like being social with them. Instead of joining the larger table with her coworkers, Susan claimed a spot at the bar and ordered a whiskey on the rocks. After her week, she needed it. Hell, she even deserved it.
On Friday, someone allowed their child to play with their potions kit, thinking it wouldn't do any harm. Yeah. Right. Susan had been covered in vomit due to some potion gone wrong that poisoned the child. Why couldn't people keep their kids out of the potions? At least it hadn't been as bad as the man who tried to eat a Devils Snare and ended up getting ridiculously sick. It was moments like that that Susan actually missed working in any area. But, the days would go by and they would have cases of people that couldn't stop giggling. Or a rash that looked like giant hearts all over a person. Those cases were always something to be remembered, and giggled about.
Susan was just glad that she would get the chance to take a break tomorrow. Oh how she would sleep, and possibly take a very long bubble bath. At that moment, she looked like an absolute wreck. Her hair was tied back into a messy bun, and she was actually in a pair of jeans and and a long sleeve shirt. It was a very rare sight to see. Normally Susan always tried to look her best, but working twelve days in a row made it impossible for her to care.
But such as the life as a healer. Susan stretched back and finished off her first drink of what she hoped would be many, and ordered another.
"Thanks, Tom." Susan yawned and leaned forward onto the bar. A book she had been trying to finish for the past few months sat in front of her and she would at least try to get through a page.
