Tracey frowned a bit. Unfair was a term she'd heard all too often lately. She'd thought it more than enough towards her own predicament and perhaps in her treatment of Theo when she'd pushed him so hard, but then, life was unfair, or so she was told.
"Yes, and you have worked very hard at it. I'm sorry." She took one of his hands, bringing it around to kiss before letting go. She had to be careful, or this terrible mood of hers would lead to her saying something she would truly regret, and she'd either have to fess up or accept the row that would come from it.
Chuckling at his words, she sucked in a breath as he kissed her neck again. That was proving all sorts of distracting. "I'm gone so long, you could probably have a double life, and I'd never know. Are you sure you don't dress up in a cape and tights and save the city from crime." She smiled, knowing he'd likely not get the joke.
"Are you really?" That was almost as surprising as the idea of him wanting to go on holiday with her. This was a man who couldn't so much as have a public dinner with her for fear a reporter would photograph them, and it would get back to his parent. His fingers were in her hair though, and her mind drew a blissful blank as his fingers massaged her scalp.
"Yes, more of this." She gasped outright as he kissed her neck this time before turning her head to kiss him properly. "Really, I should just wait for you to come to me every time. You're so attentive."
