Draco pretended to give the query serious thought. "I wouldn't know where to begin. One of those muggle places you and Albert frequent." He gave a small false shudder. "I'd get lost. You'd have to hire aurors to find me."
Brushing his thumb over her defined cheekbone, he gave a careless shrug. "I didn't know if I should be worried or cross, but I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. I thought perhaps I'd done something to make you avoid me."
He watched her walk away, loosening his tie while she poured the liquor into two tumblers. Following her to the sofa, he toed off his shoes before settling in, kicking up one stocking foot and wiggling his toes to prove his point.
"Very comfortable, see?"
He reached for the glass of whiskey, taking a sip before he gave her his carefully considered answer. "Work, work, work, like always. Bit of this, bit of that. Having been promoted has reduced the stress levels in some ways, raised them in others. No terribly exciting cases, though- dreadfully boring for you. Tell me about Turkey instead."
