The blonde mutant had voiced her opinion about this nightmarish storm and the blood rain but she could not just sit indoors and watch from the window anymore. It was disturbing to say the least but a part of her was itching with curiosity. It was not like she could get soaked in it either if she did not want to, her shield would protect her.
Sally made her way through the house and onto the porch, her feet stopping just shy of where the red rain was pouring down. Her blue eyes squinted as she looked up towards the sky, perhaps a mutant was behind all of this. Storm could control the weather but the blood rain was something different, unsettling. What else could have the power to do this? Skids tucked her feet in under her thighs and sat cross-legged as she just listened to the rain fall with her eyes closed. Her force field was down for the time being, it was exhausting to try and control when it came up and disappeared but she was practicing tirelessly every day to get better at it, to look more human.
The petite woman opened her eyes and looked blankly at the path in front of her that lead into the woods, a place she would not goat night after her encounter upon arriving. She wondering if anyone was actually out in this, including that guy that seemed so interested in this storm. She slowly stuck her hand out from under the cover of the roof and let the blood drops fall on her bare hand. Sure, it was blood and it was disgusting and disturbing that it was just raining down from the sky but Sally was not use to being able to touch things so easily, so any sensation from touch would bring a small smile to her lips.
