The last thing Enzo remembered was heading back to the travelers. So, when he opened his eyes he was looking around for them. It only took him a moment to realize that they weren't anywhere to be seen. More importantly than that he clearly wasn't in Mystic Falls anymore. For someone who had already been kidnapped once in his life he wasn't very happy about this. The last thing he wanted was to be tortured by some freak again. He was determined he wasn't going to be put in a cage again, so he would find a way out of here....no matter what it took. He got to his feet and he looked to his right and then to his left. It seemed there was an endless beach, and in front of him nothing but sand and trees. He didn't like the thoughts going through his head. He wanted to get out of there, but he had no idea where to go. Sure he could dive back into the ocean and try to swim somewhere else, but since he didn't know where he was he had no idea where he could go. As much as he hated it he needed to figure out where he was before he tried escaping. He decided to head into the woods. Sure it could be dangerous, but he had to take the chance. Besides he knew he could handle himself. He took in a deep breath more to steady himself than for the need of oxygen and then he headed towards the woods. There didn't seem to be many people around, but he could tell there were some there. He could smell it in the air. He wasn't ready to be discovered just yet himself, so he made sure to be quiet as he moved. Just when he thought he was alone in this little section of the woods he spotted someone moving ahead of him. He could tell right away that the person wasn't human. The scent alone was enough to convince, but then there was also the way she moved. As he got closer he recognized the woman in front of him. It was the perky and beautiful Caroline Forbes. He couldn't help the grin that appeared on his lips. He made his way up behind her and covered her eyes. "Guess who?" he asked with a smirk on his lips. He knew he was probably about to get in a little tiff, but it would be well worth it. Plus he was sure she would be worth whatever energy he put into the chase. Of course it helped that he was beyond thrilled to see at least one semi-friendly face in this strange place. |
