WHO Lilaritrix (aka BELLATRIX and LILY)
WHAT Bellatrix is going to teach Lily a lesson in how to STFU.
WHEN During THE FIGHT
WHERE Hogsmeade
RATING TBAAA

It was chaos. That was all it could be described as, people both child and adult alike running here and there to escape hexes and curses. The Death Eaters were ruthless, attacking whoever crossed their paths, and so far, Lily had remained lucky, avoiding all entanglements but she knew it was only a matter of time before she came across a Death Eater's path. Instead of hiding and protecting herself, Lily was running and fetching students who seemed stunned by the situation, stunned into inaction. Lily saw one girl--a Hufflepuff with pigtails--standing in the road and sobbing hysterically. Lily shook the sobbing girl.

"Find someplace to hide--quick!" Once, Lily might have thought hiding was a ridiculous thing to do, very cowardly and un-Gryffindorlike, but the truth was that Lily was not sure of anything anymore. The Gryffindor part of Lily wanted to fight back and defend people, but there was another part of her that wanted very much to crawl into a small space and hide where no one would find her. Yet here she was, grabbing people and forcing them to hide while she remained out in the open, vulnerable to all.
---
Bella's fun had been snatched away at the hands of some stupid auror, and now Sirius was out of her grasp. The putrid little monkey, she thought viciously, irritated to have lost her victim, someone who was in dire need of a lesson in respect.

She stalked quickly among the chaos, killing two persons in her path, nameless folk who dared get in her way.

Amongst the flashes of curses and the colours of hexes, the browns, blacks and golds of heads of hair running all about, Bellatrix saw a jolt of deep red out of the corner of her eye. It wasn't a spell, and with a quick turn of her neck, she spotted an attractive redhead pointing the way to safety for a small child.

Memory ever-sharp, she deducted that this would be heroine was spunky, sassy, rude, dirty, insubordinate, cheeky Lily Evans.

Bella smiled. A new pupil. Moving swiftly and quietly toward the pair of young girls.

"Avada kedavra." she said easily, as if she were simply vanishing a snail. The pigtailed little thing crumpled to the ground lifelessly, as Bella waited to be acknowledged.
---
She did not hear those horrible words that had the ability to vanquish life with the mere point of a wand, but she did see the flash of green light and then the girl falling to the ground in a lifeless heap. Lily's mouth fell open in a silent scream and she couldn't hide the tears that fell from her eyes. This was a little girl who was meant to grow up and live, to do things, and now she was dead, killed before Lily's very own eyes.

Invaded by a newfound sense of hatred and anger, Lily cast her eyes about for the culprit, for any hooded figure that resided close by, upon whom Lily could vent her anger and frustrations. There was one, a distinctly female figure in shape, who seemed especially interested in the scene; Lily turned to face her. "What is wrong with you?" She shrieked at the woman standing there and Lily clenched her wand tight in her hand as she drew it upward to throw some spell at her. The spell missed--entirely because Lily was driven by blind emotion--but that still didn't stop Lily as she stomped onward to certain death with Bellatrix Black.
---
Bella smiled benignly as she watched the ill aimed spell wizz harmlessly by her arm. The smile was painfully misleading, as Bellatrix's intentions were anything but benign.

With a lazy wave of her arm and a gleam in her eye, Bellatrix silently cast a Leg Lock spell on the terrified redhead, who swayed on the spot before toppling to the ground. "Lily Evans?" she asked, as if they were upon a chance meeting in a remote tea shop. "I don't believe we've formally met. Bellatrix Black." Her smile and voice were smooth, but they oozed insincerity. "I would offer you my hand, but, I have standards." Her pretty blue eyes were icy and unforgiving as she gazed down at the girl in the dust, fingering her wand absentmindedly.
From the dirt-trodden road upon which she now lay, Lily found she was incapable of moving her legs, but she was still able to speak and move the rest of her body with a bit of difficult movements. Lily had hoisted herself up on her elbows and glared up at the woman who held her wand menacingly upon Lily.

"I wouldn't accept a hand from the person that tries to kill me," she refused to look away from those cold blue eyes, even though her heart was pounding wildly in her chest. She was certainly going to die, wasn't she? That was all Bellatrix Black could have in mind for her.
---
"Oh, Lily!" started Bella, her voice full of compassion and concern, but her eyes positively dancing with amusement. She knelt down beside the redhead, placing a hand on her disabled leg gently. "I haven't tried to kill you yet."

Her voice was still painfully sincere, but seconds after the statement her face twisted as she tried to hold back a cackle of glee, a radiant, exuberant smile. She composed herself, the laugh in her throat gone. She still looked thrilled, but there was interest in her face, as if she were studying some wondrous new species.

"Ever the Gryffindor, aren't you?" she asked eagerly. "Here you lie, in the dirt, completely at my mercy, and you're brave! You're defiant!" Her wondering smile turned hard. "Perhaps it's the dirt. It's where you come from, perhaps it makes you feel safe."

The faux concern was draining from her voice, and she stood up quickly, a menacing figure looking down at Lily with disdain. "Let's get you back up to where you think you belong." she hissed, and with a wave of her wand, Lily was elevated, seemingly standing, but, in fact, hovering a few inches above the ground, her legs still immobilized.
---
"Don't touch me!" Lily barked at the murderous witch who knelt beside her, dared to touch her leg, and grinned at her while she gleefully taunted Lily. Just the mere touch made Lily shiver in anticipation; she was not ready to die but here she was facing a woman who had killed a young girl right in front of her face. Ignoring Bellatrix's taunts was hard, but Lily could do it; it was having absolutely no control over herself while she did it that made Lily want to cry. "Don't--don't touch me," her fierce control was lost and Lily could no longer hold back the choked sob as Bellatrix mocked her. She could not cry in front of this poor excuse of a human being, so Lily bit down on her lip to stop herself from crying. She had to.
