Dearest Cissy,

I have been monstrously remiss in my duties as your only sister. Do let me know if there is anything you require in these final months of schooling. No want or whim will be too great- Name it, and it is yours. I wish I would be able to deliver it in person, and spend some time with you, but I believe we both understand that that would be unwise, inadvisable and impossible, for many reasons.
