There were a lot of things that Penny Cardew wasn't the best at. Defense, for instance- that was the whole reason that she was sitting at a table near the front of the Library, fidgetting madly and, surprise surprise, being Not Very Good At Waiting. Not to mention, Not Very Good At Not Making Pince Angry; every time the blonde started humming to herself, or tapping the table with her quill, or calling a hello to any student she vaguely recognized, the Librarian turned to fix her with a look that would have cowed a lesser girl than Miss Cardew.
