The last week was kind of...yeah. But everything's cool now.

I introduced a nearly four hundred year old vampire to JRPGs. That was cool.

Yeah. It was not good. But everyone's okay now.

Persona 5. Cian was a pirate and said he robbed people for fun. So I figured with the whole 'Phantom Thieves' thing and all the psychology references, he might like it. And he can use an actual sword so the controller was NBD.

Yeah, hopefully it slows down. I didn't get told much about what happened at the vampire Halloween party except what was posted on the Schrecknet. I think Cian's being a little hard on himself because he couldn't help with that or the trouble on the streets.

It kind of makes me worry for when he does have to do Hound stuff. I don't know what Connie would do if something happened to him.

I saw that there were werewolves in the streets 😬 I can't imagine wanting to be out there with that. Its's a good thing neither one of us went to that party, though. Hunters and wolves? Not my kind of party.

Yep. Connie thinks it's super funny.

He is cool. Cooler than he knows. Jules keeps reminding him how old he is and somehow I think it makes him feel less cool. Which isn't cool.

Werewolves are real too?

I didn't see any werewolves... Well, a couple of kids dressed as wolfmen, but they were costumes. They were pretty cute. One of them even howled for some candy.

It was probably the first time since I was sixteen I stayed home and handed out candy...

I can see how, no one likes feeling super old. I'm not even old and I can understand that.

I didn't see them, personally. I should have said heard. No one came by the shop for candy, I'm a little jealous.

I mean I get he's old even for a vampire. Especially a Malk. But yeah. Jules can be kind of a dick, but sometimes he's super nice. Depends on who he's eaten. Cian's like that too.

Well, since it's like the super rich part of town and there was screaming and stuff, I figured the best way to hide was in plain sight. So I put on my Mimikyu kirurgumi and handed out candy to all the rich kids who's parents were driving around. They thought all the scary sounds from Connie's room was one of those haunted house soundtracks.

I figured it was the best way to keep anyone passing by from calling the cops when they passed by. They went on way too long to be movie watching and leaving off the lights would probably have been like a billion times more suspicious.

It was a good distraction for me too.

They were screaming and stuff for real?? I've heard stories but, like, I don't know any Malkavians, really.

Because they're Malks. They read minds. So if the person they ate was bad, they get stuck in their heads awhile.

I wasn't allowed to go in. Only time Connie locked his door and forbade me to come in. But yeah there was screaming and pounding and noises I didn't want to think too hard about...

It was mostly Connie. Cian's pretty quiet unless he just ate somebody loud.

I'm sorry you had to go through that, though. I know it can be hard not to go your Master when they are upset. I can't imagine how much harder that is with that. :/

It totally sucked...but everything's fine now. Connie's all better. <3 And Cian seems to be more worried about the stuff that went on in the streets and at the party than here. I think it's just...being them.

Aw, you're sweet. Connie usually lets me, but it was too dangerous. The best thing I could do was keep people from realizing something was wrong. But that's our job, right? To help them.

And everything's cool now. That's what really matters.

Maybe he doesn't want to deal with it or worry you guys? He's a Hound so maybe he really does feel bad for not being out there. I'm glad Connie is better, though.

So now, what do you think the best FPS to give to a former pirate is? I'm gonna ask Connie what he likes, but more suggestions are always good.

Oh, I'm literally the wrong person to ask. I don't do a lot of fps. I'm more the casual phone games kind of guy rn. From what I've heard from Call of Duty, though, that might be funnier.

I'm not sure Cian's ready for online play though. Even with not being in the same room with the people he's playing with.

Although it could totally be hilarious having some 12 year old tell him 'Die fuckin' noob' or something stupid like that.

I don't think it's going to get any better for any of us but ghouls keeping an eye on ghouls certainly won't hurt. It's easy for ghouls to sometimes slip through the cracks.
