The world would have fallen, were it not for a band of gifted individuals. Now the world must figure out how to cope with the idea that one person can have more firepower than a tank.

Want to bring some of the X-Men: Apocalypse characters into present day and see how they work? Storm, Quicksilver and Psylocke are available! Loved Teenage Negasonic Warhead in Deadpool? So did we and we'd love to see her! Same with Colossus! Character dead in the movies? Doesn't matter! We'd love to see Darwin, Spitfire or Banshee! Character a part of the MCU? Make Wasp, Quake, or Yo-Yo Rodriguez a mutant and bring them along! We encourage inspiration from all over Marvel, be it comics, television or movies!
Established in May 2003, X-Project is a journal-based RPG, now on Dreamwidth. We use a combination of in-character journals and third-person POV cowritten logs. Think cooperative fanfic; the players hail from a combination of the old comics fanfic lists and Livejournal RPGs.

Established in May 2003, X-Project is a journal-based RPG now on Dreamwidth. We use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and the slate has been wiped clean on all of our available and retired characters.
In January 2015, X-Project underwent a relaunch, which expanded the pool of usable concepts to all of the Marvel properties, regardless of who holds the licence. Using the X-Men franchise as a base, we are now pulling in elements from the MCU, Spider-Verse and other properties. We are also now on Dreamwidth, as of April 2017.
Check out the Wiki and the unplayed characters page to see what's available. Readers are highly encouraged! If you're looking for X-Men-based entertainment, X-Project welcomes you to read along and enjoy the ride!

Come join St. Margaret's to celebrate our annual Halloween traditions which involve: a haunted house, a complex scavenger hunt, a costume contest and of course, our resident banshee singing a haunting version of La Danse Macabre to call up from the grave the spirits of the dead to join in the festivities. At St. Margaret's Academy, there's no such thing as normal.

Could you thrive at a school like this?
We live in a world where people are either Mundane, or Gifted - and the Gifted have the ability to control an element, even if only in a small way. It's not a secret. It's not even all that taboo. It's something of a fact of life. The great thing about schools like Islington, is that there's no real emphasis on how different people are. If you're Gifted, you will be taught how to control and use your Gift here, but you won't be made to feel like an outsider, or a freak, like can happen in other places. If you're Mundane, you'll be given just as many opportunities as the Gifted students - they might be different, but they will be just as numerous - and you won't be made to feel less-than.
All magic aside, no matter where your talents and skills lie, there is a place for you here at Islington School.
Islington School has been completely revamped and retooled! It is a het and fem/slash friendly, original character roleplaying game on InsaneJournal, set in a boarding school environment with a supernatural twist. This game will focus on character development, especially on the way the Gifted are perceived by the Mundane and vice versa, but there will also be non-supernatural issues based in and around boarding school life, as well as some larger plot. We are looking for writers who are 18+ and who enjoy seeing their characters grow as people!

On the surface, John Adams Preparatory School boasts an impressive and competitive academic program for the children of the 1%. What people don't know is that half, if not most of the students are preternatural. The school has more brewing beneath the surface than an old order of preternatural hunters alive and well among the student populace.
They brought across the pond hundreds of years ago. Something that's been asleep for a long time. That something is waking up and soon these teenagers will have more to worry about than who to vote for as Homecoming court.

John Adams Prep is a preternatural-themed roleplaying game set in an upscale private school in New York City. It blends concepts from the works of L. J. Smith, Kim Harrison, and others while utilizing premades to encourage a colorful variety of characters. This game is slash and femslash friendly and meant for players 18+.

Islington Prep is one of the best schools in the Eastern United States, and one of the things that Islington prizes above all else is pride: pride in oneself, pride in one's house, and pride in the school. So the fact that the school is slowly but surely heading towards bankruptcy, while not exactly common knowledge, is cause for alarm for those in the know.
So just what would you do to save your school as you know it? Will you throw yourself into school life harder than ever, hoping that Islington's board will see what a mistake closing the school would be?

‘Islington Prep’ is a completely non-supernatural original game set in a prestigious boarding school in Maryland.
We're looking for writers who are dedicated to character development and quality writing. Characters from all grades can be played, but players must be 18+ please. We'd like to see a good mix of both moneyed students and scholarship students. Bring on the inevitable conflict between the so-called Haves and Have-Nots!

The '16 - '17 academic year is well underway and students are looking forward to the year's first holiday tradition. Hallowe'en is a big deal at this school. According to the Christian learnings, it's when the gates of Hell swing open and the restless spirits haunt the Earth. It's half-true. Hallowe'en is when the restless spirits that haven't yet passed on come out of their resting places and hunt the earth. Problem is, the Academy has lots of those, and not all of them have been buried in the graveyard. On Hallowe'en, all of them will come out. While they're not evil, these spirits, ghosts and phantoms can be mischievous and loud, which makes falling asleep on Halloween practically impossible. Will your costume fool the spirits? Apply now and join in the festivities!
