RP: Dee & Blaise Who: Dee & Blaise When: Day 43 ( May 4th) Where: Tower of London What: An evening chat
Dee was tired after patrolling and then a full day of training and looking after the animals. She'd been nervous about going out at all because whilst she might be used to being out and about in all weathers with unpredictable animals, she at least had a pretty good idea about what might attack her and how best to stop it in a non-violent manner. Here? Here she had no clue and was learning all sorts of things. Her partner was Lily who was nice enough, but Dee couldn't help but think - and hated that she did feel that way because girl power and all - that she'd feel a bit safer with somebody who worked in law enforcement. Still, they'd been out and come back to tell the tale so all things considered, it was a good day.
Still, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that seemed to churn in her stomach most of the time now. She didn't know if it was because she was here without the friends she'd usually go to for comfort or whether it was just general unease following what had happened but she hadn't felt like herself since Belvina's death. In the evenings, she felt nervous and if she was jumping at shadows. Dee had never jumped at shadows in her life!
After dinner, she sat on one of the newly made benches and leaned back against the wall, eyes closed. She didn't know how much time had passed before she sensed somebody nearby and jumped a little, opening her eyes in alarm to see that somebody had sat down next to her. "Er, sorry! I was just resting my eyes. It feels like it was a very long day."
