"Of course I tried it myself first. I always do, but after a certain stage I need someone else to help," she said, giving him a flatly unimpressed look. "Well, I hope they exercise some caution up there, but we don't really have the space down here for anything too acrobatic. Just...do what feels natural."
She stood back at a distance she could have a good view of him and the broom, but close enough she could cast any spells to keep him from causing himself injury if something went wrong with the broom. She was especially unsure of the breaking charm, mostly because it had been some time since she'd had to modify one for a broom rather than a bike.
"Thanks. I think I can fix that easily enough," she said, actually smiling because this was exactly what she needed n the testing process. "Can you try coming to a complete stop, hover where you are for a moment, then reverse direction? I want to see the reaction times."
