Regulus laughed. "I can give you details if you really want," he said, although Sirius didn't want to and Regulus wasn't interested in sharing. "Merlin, this feels so strange. Good strange, though. We'd never be allowed to do this with Father and Mother around once we got older and probably never would have even if we had survived, but now- You know for all that we miss the excitement of our lives, I like this and I like being stuck with you."
He raised his eyebrows. "What's ethical? Sirius, if there are more attacks, they will start killing werewolves, because they don't get a trial. If they find out that there was a mistake, they can't go free, because they will be dead. At this point, we need secure and fast. Maybe ask Babbling to use the forest to create spells to keep them within a certain area. Once we know that works, it can be used in other areas." He shrugged. "You can't be happy all the time, that's just not how life works, but boredom would be a problem."
He grinned. "Have you found someone who's not dull? And yes, dating someone like Remus would have been perfect, we both knew that and just... didn't work. Besides, I think we all ramp up our paranoia when we're together. We all probably need people who aren't as paranoid as us." He knew that it seemed stranger. "We do talk about plenty. Foreign countries, politics, different point of views on different every day things, his family, our family, marriage, children, the future. Plenty of things actually." He nodded. "I do want you to spend time with him and tell me the truth. I do value your opinion."
