"I do, Merlin knows why I'm telling you, but we are family and I refuse to let you go. I keep thinking about it. I know we always blamed Mother, but she kept the house, she kept things the way they were. You know she wouldn't have gone against Father. Maybe it was him. Maybe it was just that they had too much pride. You have too much pride. And I know I can be terrible with other people, but I won't let my pride split us apart." Regulus laughed. "You're so childish. It doesn't hurt that no one wants to kill us at this very moment." He thought the lack of Dumbledore and the Dark Lord was doing more for their family than the time jump. "Then why don't you work on that? Why don't we work on that? Finding places where they can transform, with safe spells to keep them within a certain territory, but able to move? Find the spells and sell it to the ministry." And after that they could find someone else to do. Sirius didn't need a steady job after all."
Regulus shrugged. "As I said, maybe it wasn't just her. She was just more vocal, because she was supposed to be in charge of us. I wager she was seen as a failure for not reining you in. I heard Father reprimand her like a child once, as if we had no brains and we only did what she said." He nodded. "Thanks and I know, but I have to think about this and try with her."
He sat crossed legged, knowing that his mother would have been horrified. He was too old not to sit properly. "What do you mean about being someone else? You either dislike him or don't, I'm not sure what someone else has to do with it. And I've always been gay. He's hardly my first boyfriend. I've been with other people, but I'll bite, why do you think Ill regret it. You've said how much you think this is wrong, but not why."
