"If that were the case, you wouldn't have me in it at all. Be definition I am a walking disaster and I make things imperfect." he said simply, giving him a smile. "Probably, or accidentally when I'm experimenting with something." he admitted, and with all those priceless irreplaceable things around? Well, it hardly sounded like a great idea, did it? "I need to do something, but again it brings us around to what. I love charm work, we know that, but it seems like in this brave new world most everything has been thought of." he admitted.
He sighed. "What I'm about to say is blunt, but she's dead. She can't do much about it regardless. Aside scream and shout, which if memory serves she is admittedly very good at, but still." he said, looking his brother over. He rolled his eyes then. "Maybe I will. I hope I will eventually, but unlike you I'm in absolutely no rush." he said with a shrug. It was true, too. Sirius would settle down when he found the right person he was sure, however, he well knew that might not happen for a very long time. "And I doubt I'd ever choose someone she's massively keen on somehow. I don't even think there is anyone in this time." Or any other, Sirius thought, but still. He sighed. "Alright, she might have been a touch more sentimental than I gave her credit for. It doesn't excuse the plethora of other things."
Sirius knew he'd lock onto that. "It's not that I don't like him. I just think everything is much more serious than it needs to be, and I rather think you're being hasty." he said, and oh Godric, where was all that coming from?
