Sirius snorted. "You see, I don't think you would. I don't think you want her back in here again anytime soon and you'd rather deal with looking at whatever I destroy in its destroyed state than risk her coming back in here and turning something Princess Pink." he replied, gently teasing as he did, smiling a little at the easy comfort in that one. It was decidedly good having his brother back, even if it was sometimes simply to have someone to squabble with properly. "No, I rather thought that. And Delphine is lovely but the idea of the museum bores me to tears and I'd not want to burden her by being a poor employee." he admitted, and that part was also true. He'd only be putting in half effort, and that wasn't fair especially to someone he liked. He also didn't want it reflecting badly on Remus. "Nah, it is kind of boring. I like the social side and dealing with people, but it does drive you a bit out of your mind sometimes. It's why I need side projects." he admitted.
"Never." Sirius replied simply. She'd never been truly happy with him, that was for sure. before he'd even rebelled he'd always been too much something or not enough something else. Never quite good enough to be the Black heir, apparently, not that it mattered now. "Oh, she doesn't know yet?" Sirius asked, raising an eyebrow. To him, that was somewhat telling for all Regulus was saying about his not wanting to disappoint her. "I'd offer to do something she'd find horrible directly afterwards, but honestly, you need to tell her about this on your terms and be comfortable in doing so." he replied, and he did. If Regulus couldn't get to that it wasn't worth it. "And she won't say nice things, but that's almost just how she is sometimes." He paused a bit then. "Did she not? That's a wonder. Perhaps Kreacher was simply too old by then. I don't buy her loving anything side that old elf and the sound of her own voice." he added, rolling his eyes and then wondering why he was being so candid in his dislike.
"Well, you might have to hold fire. Thankfully, I won't be here when he comes home." he replied, and almost winced because 'thankfully'? Really? Ouch.
