"I mean, if I destroy it creatively she might forgive me, at the very least." he suggested, giving his brother a bit of a grin. "But I understand your point, she is... well. She's a lot, isn't she?" he asked, laughing. She had flirted with him, so there was a very high likelihood she had flirted with Regulus, and Merlin only new how that had gone.
"I thought I heard her dulcet tones." he replied drily. "I... well. Thanks. For putting her there. I assume that's somewhat for my benefit. Don't worry, I've not upset her by going up there myself, not have I any intention to do so." he added, and he really and truly didn't. If she stayed up there out of the way all the better, quite frankly. "I think you might be hoping in vain, you know." he added, quite sure of that.
"Ah, yes, they don't exactly get on famously, do they?" he asked, having heard enough - and given he liked Jamie and found him rather insightful, that didn't exactly help with Sirius' opinions of Julien himself, which basically extended to the fact that he was a pretty boy with very little to offer beyond that, quite honestly.
