Lily chuckled. "Remus is the kindest person I know. But, he wouldn't say it, if he didn't mean it."
Leading the way through to the back, she shrugged. "Severus and I don't really mind the work. It gets done to our specifications, no question, and no other magic but ours will be a part of it. Not that she wouldn't do a nice job, or the people she might recommend. But, it's more secure this way."
The spot out back was exactly as she'd described...sort of. There was a table set up that was really more of a plank of wood set across two saw horses. The table was placed under the shade of a Scots pine Lily had nurtured a bit, encouraging a fuller foliage from the stark evergreen. "We're looking for a shop front in town, actually. But, our finances are limited and, honestly, the work is fun most of the time. Besides, the town doesn't have the biggest thing we need and that's land to grow things." On one side of the table was a standard garden bench with some cushions on the seat, transfigured from some of the detritus from the house that was still sturdy, just old and unnecessary. She motioned for Delphine to make herself comfortable there before running her hand down the trunk of the pine and waiting while one of the lowest branches bent down to provide a bench for her as well. "I'm afraid we don't have much that I can offer in the way of refreshment here. Tea or water, is about it. But, I can get some for you, if you like."
