"Well, there's no denying that you are good-looking," she said, scrutinising his face and feeling that strange magic cloak her once again. She moved as if to touch him and remembered herself just in time. "I'll have very good-looking grandchildren to show off. Tell me, how are you liking that present I dropped off in the shop?"
She looked between the two of them, wondering what she was missing here. "Why will your family not be attending? They have to attend, we can't possibly portray families coming together if one side of the family isn't here to celebrate." Pansy took a fortifying sip of her champagne and considered what she'd need to do. Emil's family would be there somehow. "There will need to be another marriage ceremony and May seventeenth will do. Do you want any input at all or shall I get on with it in the same way I got on with Fen's?"
"Do they not think we're good enough?" she asked, straightening up and arching an eyebrow glacially. "I'll have you know that many people don't consider Veelas Purebloods and I have had to do a lot of quick-talking to change those views."
She nodded. "Everett, darling, you don't need to do any robes except family. Circe, you can forget Horatio if you want and your sister will be expanding at a pace by then, she's bloating like an Erumpent, so don't do anything too embellished. Just minimise however you can."
