"I'm quite aware." he replied, giving her a smile, because really, the best thing to do here was to go along with Pansy and placate by agreement. He rolled his eyes then. He knew he was handsome in his own rights, and he also knew that Emil didn't seem to care a jot for any of it. It was a strange concept, but it worked.
"Yes, well, the whole thing was decided at the very last minute, so you had almost as much notice as I did." he replied, not adding that Delphine and Alec had no idea why they were even asked to attend until they were already there.
