RP: Harry & Emil
Who: Emil/Harry When: 20th February Where: Harry's Office What: Emil wants to see Harry
Harry had finished conducting interviews with the various sub-division heads in Patrol and had come to his own conclusions. There was bloat in some areas and scarcity in others and the various budgets that had been channelled into Patrol over the years... Well, Harry wasn't sure where the money had been spent and he still had finance working on the records for those. It came down to simple brass tacks though: the Aurors were under-utilised and highly skilled, Patrol seemed to be utilised well but the skill levels varied a lot more. All of it pointed to the fact that the current divides in work load just didn't work and that, in Harry's opinion, Aurors should be working on serious crimes, not just those that had dark magic attached to them.
He was mulling over potential org structures with a cup of tea when there was a knock in the door and he cast a spell to make the door transparent, wanting to make sure it wasn't Ernie. He was a capable man, very capable, but he was driving Harry nuts with questions that were well within his remit. It had only been since Harry had been a little more absent in his role as Head of DMLE that it had become more clear that he'd shouldered more of the decision-making in the Auror department than perhaps he should have.
"Mister Lebeau," he said, waving the door open with his wand and ending the spell. Another flick of his hand had the parchments in front of him rolling up and flying to a shelf behind him. "How can I help you? Do you want a cup of tea?"
