I don't get the joke in "Rorschach's day out"?

The rest are hilarious, if a bit disturbing...

Be thankful. If you got the joke then you saw Baby's Day Out... which wasn't that good of a movie.

I love how he says no to everything but Long John Silvers. There is also something way too cute about Rorschach trying when there is soap in his eyes.

What's up with all the LJS references in web comics lately. I feel like I'm missing the meme.

The daycare strip has no right to be that funny.

Also, this simply furthers my Comedian-fandom, despite him being possibly the most unsympathetic bastard I've ever read about.

I think by the end of the book I had a little bit of sympathy for the guy.

I love Dr Long's daycare. XD "NEVER BRING HIM BACK AGAIN!"

Also, I find Little Rorschach strangely cute.

"Why didn't you watch him?!"

"I no longer feel any attachment to the human condition.."

Some people do anything to avoid babysitting.

I like the last two, but "who washes the watchmen" made me bust out laughing, just like I did at the theater. So gratuitous!

These were pretty funny - I don't quite get the 'No' thing, though. I suppose it might be a reference to the 'whores and politicians' line, where he says "And I'll whisper, 'No'." Still that's a bit obscure.
I liked how they were referencing both the movie and the comic - that 'calm down, Daniel' moment in 'Who washes the Washmen' is clearly inspired by Nite Owl's howl of anguish at the end of the movie when he sees Rorschach get blown away. Also, Ozy - smashing up restaurants since 1985!

Specifically, "The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.""

Yes, thank you, I knew that. I was just saying it took me a while to come up with that as a possibility.
