I really like the classic enemies of the Teen Titans; besides trying to finish our heroes off, Deathstroke, Brother Blood, Trigon etc. have something else in common: good use of grammar.
In New Teen Titans #24 (1982) we meet Lord Damyn, who not only has his own grammar rules, but also a very special humour and sense of beauty.
Context: In the previous issue Starfire was captured by the Gordanians, who work for her sister Blackfire (who again works for the Citadel). To get their friend back, the Titans invaded the Gordanian space ship, but were beaten up and thrown into space. Fortunately the JLA satelite was nearby, so Superman picked them up. Since he's a bit powerless at the moment, he can't help them rescue Starfire, but...
Two things I love about this page: Wally and Gar helping Vic to put his legs together and the Hitchhiker's Guide reference.
And while the heroes are on their way, Blackfire and Kory already arrived at the Citadel homeworld.
Now everyone should be very impressed and have high expectations of Lord Damyn.
