Darkest Night: Batman & Superman, parts 2
Wordless teaser images are up at the DCU Blog. Batman preview & Superman previews.

Superman on Superman action.

Batman resurrected villains summoning the new Dark Knight. I really like the multiple Scar Faces.

Nope. Kal-L. Which begs, where IS the Eradicator?

Ye Olde Wikipedia says he hasn't been seen since 2005, in SUPERMAN #220.

He may haven't appeared in awhile. But he is SOOOO not forgot. Check out the annual I think it was Superman one that came out just two weeks ago. You'll find the Eradicator's presence is still felt in Krypton past.

I could've sworn I read an issue where Deadman is watching Eradicator die and follows an energy form that starts to act the way a soul does when the body dies, but the form disintegrates.

I'm seriously loving the BL Ventriloquist and Scar Face(s). I think it's a scream.

I love that Blockbuster is there.. not a Batman bady, but a Dick/ Nightwing bad guy.

Well, the first Blockbuster was a Batman and Robin foe, the second one was a Starman foe, then an Impulse foe when he got intelligent in Underworld Unleashed, and then Dick inherited him in Bludhaven.

It could be freakier, imagine if Tarantula returned as a Black Lantern too.

Committed suicide in Secret Six a few issues ago, taking out a Really Bad Person in the process.

That Supes two-page splash kinda reminds me of the webcomic somebody posted here the other day, with Rob Liefield going "Hold all my calls! I'll be spending the day drawing teeth!"

Kal-L knows that Supes is vulnerable if he is distracted by saving nearby innocents.

Does Kal-L really need the New Earth Superman to be vulnerable? I mean, the guy chucked moons at the Anti-Monitor back when he was still alive...

Contining to ride the Blackest Night train. I have big hopes it will continue to be interesting, if not oddly fun.

Question - Did Kal-L always have a tiara? I've noticed that in the last book and now in this one and not getting that. I think the BN J'onn also has one, now that I ponder it some more
