Actually, yes. Not spectacularly original, but very thematically interesting and it does make me want to keep reading. It's a dystopian society thing where everybody is a drone and there is no individuality, and you don't belong to yourself; you have to do anything anyone asks of you. Which, you can guess, is bad. And there're this group of people who discovered a bunch of old comic books and were introduced to the concept of personal identity and fighting for justice and whatnot.
My hook was that, if this is such a strict drone society, why is there this small rebellion in the first place? Was there something inside these new superheroes that was sparked by the comics? It's got a common theme with "Dollhouse," IMO - is it truly possible to suppress individuality? I'm anxious to see what happens, and yes, it's worth reading.
